Video of the Week: China Imports Corn

The outlook for food demand from emerging markets is growing. China and India are experiencing considerable growth to their middle class which will translate to increased grain demand. The agriculture boom of the future is starting to take shape with the recent news of China no longer being able to be self-sufficient in corn production; much like their soybean production since the 1990s.

T. Marc Schober was recently featured on QCTV's "Chamber Show." Mr. Schober discussed the recent rally in grain prices and the changing dynamics of China's growing middle class. Please see the video below:
