This picture was taken earlier this week from Washington County, Minnesota. Since the hot weather last week, many farmers are pleased with the emergence of their soybeans. This picture shows how healthy the hay looks around much of Minnesota thanks to some recent rain. In the background, you can see how the soybeans are emerging nicely in the area as well. On Monday the USDA announced that U.S. farmers are almost back on pace for soybean planting, currently 1% behind schedule.
